From September 12 to 14, 2018, the annual technology event "Makino Science and Technology Exhibition" was successfully held in Makino China Kunshan headquarters, as a domestic strategic cooperation tool brand, SGSO Technology Co., Ltd. was officially unveiled.

Makino has been cultivating molds for 80 years and is well-known in the mold market for its high-speed, high-precision, and high-reliability equipment. The 2018 Makino Science and Technology Exhibition focuses on the field of mold manufacturing, fully demonstrating Makino's cutting-edge technology in five-axis and automated intelligent manufacturing. In traditional mold companies, many five-axis machining is achieved by 3 2 axes, and at this science and technology exhibition, Makino emphasized the doubling of processing efficiency through five-axis linkage.

In terms of automation, Makino took the lead in proposing the automatic operation scheme of the application of trackless robots, through which the trackless robot imitates the operator's actions to achieve operations such as replacing parts and changing tools, which makes automated production more flexible than rail-based robots.
